In this search we learned stuff on the web about speed and acceleration.
1) The difference between instantaneous and average speed are: Average speed is the distance traveled in a given period of time. Instantaneous speed is a speed at a certain instant. You are reading your instantaneous speed when looking at your speedometer.
2) Constant speed is when you go the same speed for a period of time. It would travel 300m.
3) Acceleration is a vector quantity that is defined as the rate at which an object changes its velocity. Average Acceleration = Vf-Vi/time. Three units for acceleration are: m/s/s, mi/hr/s, and km/hr/s. It would be going 28 m/s/s.
Part II
1) The slope of a position vs. time graph is the velocity. The velocity increases.
2) -3m/s and the second one is 4m/s
3) The slope of a velocity time graph is acceleration. The line for acceleration will be going on a upward, rightward slope. Deceleration would be the opposite.
Part III
1) It means that the objects do not encounter air resistance. It accelerates downwards at a rate of 9.8 m/s/s
2) The velocity is increasing as it falls downward. Its acceleration as its falling is 3.75 m/s/s.

Last Mousetrap Vehicle Post
Things that were successful:
Future Recommendations:
- I think that the things that were successful were that our vehicle kept on getting better every time that it went. Each time we tested it, it gained a meter.
- Also that we gained a lot of experience in building things by doing this.
Future Recommendations:
- Not have the mousetrap break of of the vehicle right before the race.
- It was not very consistent so we could have adjusted something so it would have went consistently instead of going another meter each time.
- We could have made the wheels tighter so there wouldn't have been such a big wobble in it.
- I think that we should have used a lighter chassis instead of a heavy piece of wood.
- Maybe using different wheel could have helped it go farther and may be even a little faster to.

Race Day Post
Picture of the team before the race. Photo by: Josh
Our vehicle got better and better each trial. It went just over 2 meters the first time. Just over 3 meters the second time, and on the last trial it went a little over 4 meters. For this i come to the conclusion of that our vehicle was not very consistent.
This is a video of the team tearing up the racetrack. Video by: Josh
This is our third and final trial. We went just a tad bit over 4 meters on our final run. This was our most successful one.
If i were to modify our car i would probably try and get rid of the wobble in the wheels and hopefully that would get it to go farther.
I would probably use a lighter chasis on the vehicle and maybe some different tires that would help us go further.
Better wheels would help it perform better.

Paper Tower Challenge
1. I liked building the tower more. I liked building it more because it was way more fun to build the tower than designing it.
2. Our Completed tower was almost identical to our design. The only thing different that we did was added an extra cylinder to each section.
3. We could have put a couple pieces of paper together to make our cylinders stronger. If we would have done this i think that our structure could have held more weight in the end than it did.
